ASG - Business reported as good

2011 has continued to deliver a steady stream of work from a variety of Aviation clients for ASG.

Following the start up of handling operations in Newcastle and Liverpool for Smart Handling by Servisair, ASG managed the transfer of staff under TUPE  regulations, as well as managing the day to day operational transition.  With successful negotiations by ASG on behalf of the client and unions, staff now have a positive future to look forward to and Smart Handling is poised for a long term success at these new bases.

“In these challenging times, it is important to ensure businesses are profitable”, explains ASG Director Stuart Matheson. “Staff need security and businesses need viability – our aim in these negotiations was to ensure both parties were happy with the outcome, and we were able to deliver all this with no compulsory redundancies – and in fact growth in staff numbers.”

ASG have also remained involved in a number of other start up operations, as well as supporting government agencies
